Beats Teases Powerbeats Pro 2 With First Look Video Starring Shohei Ohtani
Arriving sometime next year.
Shohei Ohtani stars in the new teaser for Beats’ Powerbeats Pro 2 earbuds. In the clip, the Los Angeles Dodgers player sports the buds while practicing his batting.
Fans of the brand know that the Powerbeats Pro have been in need of a refresh. Originally released in 2019, the buds were once lauded as modern – even if there were a few aspects needing improvement – for their Apple H1 chip and a secure fit thanks to a sport-minded attachment that wraps over the user’s ear.

While Beats has released a few collaborative editions of the Powerbeats Pro over the years, this is the first word of a new edition. In the clip, the pair Ohtani sports comes in a cream shade and it appears to be slimmer with a more compact arm wrapping over his ear.
The Beats Powerbeats Pro 2 is slated to arrive sometime in 2025.
