Ralph Lauren Drives Out East for SS25

The night before New York Fashion’s official start, the prolific American designer presented his latest Ralph Lauren Collection, Purple Label and Polo Ralph Lauren lines in Bridgehampton.

On the eve of New York Fashion Week’s official commencement, Ralph Lauren elected to kick off early with a destination runway show in one of his favorite spots out east: Bridgehampton.

“The Hamptons is more than a place,” Lauren, who’s made his “most cherished” memories with his family in the seaside locale, said. “It’s a natural world of endless blue skies, the ocean, green fields, and white fences, rusticity and elegance with a quality of light that drew artists here decades ago. It has been home, my refuge and always an inspiration.”

The heartwarming location served as the backdrop for a sprawling catwalk that included Lauren’s Spring 2025 Ralph Lauren Collection, Purple Label and Polo Ralph Lauren lines for men, women, and children. The Ralph Lauren Collection and Purple Label designs drew inspiration directly from their surroundings, with the designer citing the “essence of coastal sophistication” on their moodboards. Classic blazers, tailored suits and sharp menswear shirting cascaded down the neighborhood venue’s bright floors in signature tones of blue and white.

The Polo Ralph Lauren collection, meanwhile, steered into sportier territory, with reimagined spectator styles with grand graphic illustrations and more vivid tones. Their eclecticism — which landed somewhere in the middle ground between boho and Western — was meant to honor the Hamptons’ equestrian history.

Following the show’s conclusion, guests were ushered into a dedicated recreation of Ralph Lauren’s The Polo Bar, where local fish, burgers and cocktails were served banquet style under brass lanterns, an experience that’s likely akin to an average night out east for Mr. Lauren himself.
