Ressence Launches a Hyper-Minimal TYPE 3 Model At Geneva Watch Days
Starring an updated dial design.

Returning to Geneva Watch Days with a new TYPE 3 model, Ressence now welcomes another monochromatic variant to its roster of oil-filled timepieces.
The freshly unveiled TYPE 3 BB2 may seem familiar to fans of the Belgian watch brand. Despite featuring a similar design, the new reference is different from the TYPE 3 Black that was released in 2022.
Embracing an updated watch face, Ressence has reduced the number of colors on the TYPE 3 BB2 to create an even more minimalistic dial design. This comes hand-in-hand with the watch’s distinctive ability to minimize distortion, a common occurrence for timepieces that are usually caused by the refraction of light. Adding to the time reference’s augmented readability, engraved indications are filled with Grade A Super-LumiNova® to ensure legibility, no matter what lighting conditions.
Its size and materiality remain synonymous with previous TYPE 3 models, arriving in a 44mm case diameter and a DLC-coated titanium pebble-shaped case. Inside, the patented ROCS 3.5 movement is fitted with Ressence’s Orbital Convex System and powers the watch with 36 hours of continuous running time.
The TYPE 3 BB2 is priced at 38,200 CHF (approx. $45,343 USD) and is available through Ressence’s retail partners. For more information, head over to Ressence’s official website.
