Porsche Teams Up with 'Overwatch 2' for Immersive Gamescom Experience
Including a karaoke space, gaming area and more.
Porsche is making a splash at Gamescom 2024, teaming up with Blizzard Entertainment to bring the world of Overwatch 2 to life with a unique automotive twist.
This partnership, which debuted in the spring of 2024, allows Overwatch 2 players to equip characters D.Va and Pharah with exclusive Porsche-inspired skins. At Gamescom, the digital Porsche package is back, adding an extra layer of excitement for fans.
Deniz Keskin, Head of Brand Management & Partnerships at Porsche AG, highlighted the success of the collaboration: “The joint project with Blizzard is a great success that has inspired fans all over the world.”
The Porsche stand at Gamescom offers a multi-sensory experience, inspired by D.Va’s hometown, Busan. Visitors can enjoy interactive elements, including a karaoke area and the chance to compete in a “Beat the Streamer” contest with Overwatch content creator Bogur. A life-sized statue of D.Va’s Mech, Tokki, is also on display, alongside a Macan show car featuring a fan-voted Overwatch design.
Cosplay enthusiasts Alyson Tabbitha and Stellar Cosplay will bring D.Va and Pharah to life at the Porsche stand, further enhancing the experience. Interested visitors can immerse themselves in this fusion of gaming and automotive at Hall 9.1, until August 26.
