G-SHOCK’s Latest G-Steel Limited Edition Celebrates Rui Hachimura’s NBA Career
Marking the two parties’ fourth watch collaboration.
G-SHOCK and Rui Hachimura have linked up for the fourth time for a new limited-edition wristwatch. As the NBA player continues to shine in his professional basketball career, the latest collaboration introduces a rugged yet gleaming reference for the G-Steel 2100 line.
Sporting a black, gold and red color scheme, each hue symbolizes Hachimura’s three main qualities: strength, shine and passion. The brilliance of the gold-colored dial is reinforced by the striking contrast of its black case, bezel and watch brand.
On closer look, a basketball-court motif is incorporated into the dial, with the LCD display referencing a 24-second shot clock. Shots of red are also imbued as hour marketings and G-SHOCK lettering for a bold touch. In line with former collaborative models, Hachimura’s iconic ”Black Samurai” logo adorns the band loop. Meanwhile, his signature is etched onto the caseback.
