Mercedes-Benz Unveils New Maybach SL Monogram Series
With two concepts designed to provide the “ultimate open-air experience.”
Mercedes-Benz has officially introduced the new Mercedes-Maybach SL Monogram Series. This release marks the sportiest model in Maybach’s storied history, combining exquisite design with unmatched driving and acoustic comfort.
At launch, two meticulously curated design concepts, “Red Ambience” and “White Ambience,” will be available. These designs feature striking two-tone paint finishes: the “Red Ambience” pairs obsidian black metallic with MANUFAKTUR garnet red metallic, while the “White Ambience” contrasts obsidian black metallic with MANUFAKTUR opalite white magno.
The Mercedes-Maybach SL 680 Monogram Series showcases Maybach’s signature design elements, including a chrome-finished radiator grille with illuminated contours and a distinctive upright Mercedes star on the bonnet. The interior is equally luxurious, with sustainably tanned crystal white MANUFAKTUR Exclusive nappa leather and silver chrome trim, creating a serene and opulent environment.
Under the hood, the SL 680 Monogram Series boasts a 4L biturbo engine delivering 585 hp, paired with a 9G-TRONIC automatic transmission and 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive. These features ensure a dynamic yet comfortable driving experience, enhanced by extensive insulation for superior acoustic comfort.
The Maybach SL Monogram Series is set to roll out in Europe in spring 2025, with other markets to follow. Accompanying the vehicle’s launch, MAYBACH Icons of Luxury will offer a collection of accessories inspired by the car’s materials and colors, including a leather jacket, sneakers and a tote bag. At the time of writing, specific details on pricing have not yet been announced.
