Awake NY x Badfriend Connect on Debut Capsule
Another cross-coast delivery from the New York City imprint.
Awake NY has been in its West Coast bag as of late. Fresh off the release of its commemorative graphic tee with UNION LA, the “unapologetically New York” imprint continues on its cross-coast run with its first-ever collaboration with Orange County outfitter Badfriend.
The bicoastal delivery finds the two labels connecting over common cultural ground, tapping into their shared Latin roots for the capsule’s standout offering: a soccer jersey. Inspired by the jerseys of Liga MX, the duo has served up two colorways – a sleek black/white and a striking red/blue – of a co-branded kit, even equipped with branding from “team sponsor” Tequila Julio.
Elsewhere, Awake NY and Badfriend present a handful of graphics and hoodies, as well as a leather lock-buckle belt and an embroidered New Era 59Fifty hat.

The first 25 purchases in NYC and the first 100 purchases in LA will receive a complimentary pair of Badfriend Star Jeans.
