Clairo Heads to the Boxing Ring in “Juna” Music Video
A rare visual from the singer-songwriter.
Clairo has continued to promote her recent third studio album, Charm. The singer has now returned with an official video for the soulful track “Juna.”
Mirroring the LP’s ‘70s-inspired sound, the visual is set in an oak-paneled room containing a boxing ring. Three different bouts go off as Clairo stands alongside the ring, woefully singing while observing the fights going on around her.
“It’s when you talk close enough / That I feel it on my skin, breathing it in,” she sings. “Most of these days / I don’t get too intimate.”
The visual’s release came as a surprise to many fans, given that Clairo very rarely puts out music videos. In the past, the singer has spoken about wanting to allow listeners to form their own interpretation of the music.
Charm followed Clairo’s 2021 sophomore album Sling and landed as the artist’s first self-released project.
