AKILA Drops Fresh Summer Shades for 2024
The Los Angeles eyewear brand’s second seasonal lineup.
Following their successful collaboration with iconic rock band The Beatles earlier this season, AKILA‘s latest Summer 2024 collection introduces three vintage-inspired frames with contemporary twists.
The new lineup features Iris, Calipso and Jupiter, each blending classic aesthetics with modern innovations. Iris offers a versatile look with subtle metal accents, perfect for urban environments. Calipso reimagines a timeless design with refined details for improved comfort and style. The standout Jupiter frame showcases a subtly upturned wraparound shape, enhanced by custom metallic temple cores for added durability and flair.
Jupiter, available in four colorways, makes a bold statement with its rectangular shape and slightly thicker frame. Options include gloss black with black or orange lenses, matte Tortoise with purple lenses and Honeydew with light brown lenses.
All frames in the collection are crafted from plant-based acetate and feature recycled lenses, reflecting AKILA’s commitment to eco-friendly fashion. This approach demonstrates that style and sustainability can coexist harmoniously.
