AMIRI AW24 Is A Tribute to Old Hollywood
The campaign features actors Ashton Sanders, Seth Lee, and South Korean singer Sunwoo.
AMIRI has released its Autumn/Winter 2024 collection inspired by the styles of up-and-coming actors in Hollywood. For the accompanying campaign, actors Ashton Sanders and Seth Lee took a break from the silver screen to model the clothing with South Korean musician and songwriter Sunwoo. Shot in the Palace Theatre in Los Angeles by Glen Luchford, the photos exude Old Hollywood glamor for the modern man with polished backstage looks.
Brand founder and creative director Mike Amiri reflected on the campaign saying, “For the Autumn-Winter 2024 AMIRI campaign, I was inspired by young actors at the cusp of their breakthroughs becoming real cinema artists – dressing up, but still being themselves. The talent we showcase in these images – Ashton Sanders, Seth Lee, and our AMIRI Ambassador Sunwoo – exemplify a new generation shaping global culture. Here, these young idols become timeless icons.”
The garments are quintessentially Hollywood with subtle and on-the-nose references to the city of angels. The most direct tribute is a button-down with landscape drawings of Los Angeles featuring landmarks like the Hollywood sign, the Chinese Theater, the Capitol Records building and Downtown LA skyline. Other pieces of clothing reference the silhouettes of 1940s and 50s old Hollywood with high waisted fitted trousers, a preppy sweater and billowing silk button downs.
The AMIRI Autumn/Winter 2024 collection is available now on the brand’s website. You can view the full campaign in the gallery above.
