Notes: Sandy Liang and Salomon have unveiled their second collaboration, featuring two new reimaginations of the Salomon Speedcross 3 Ribbon and Salomon RX MJ.
The designer’s ballet inspiration is evident in the Speedcross 3 Ribbon. As Liang explains, “The pointe shoe has always fascinated me and I thought it’d be beautiful to incorporate the ribbon details into a Salomon shoe.” This unique fusion of performance footwear and dance aesthetics creates a standout piece in the collection.
For the RX MJ silhouette, Sandy Liang reimagines the Mary Jeanne silhouette by combining urban style with outdoor functionality. Both designs reflect her signature mix of nostalgia and contemporary fashion.
Speaking on this collaboration, Sandy Liang expresses her enthusiasm, “It’s exciting to see the second chapter of this partnership come to life with new designs and reimagined silhouettes for Salomon icons that pair so naturally with the collections I create.”
The collection launches July 18 at Sandy Liang’s NYC flagship and via raffle on sandyliang’s website, with a global release on July 25 at select retailers and salomon’s website.
