Rema will be releasing his second studio album HEIS, following 2022’s Rave & Roses. The project will be out later this week, arriving on Thursday, July 11.

The rapper recently teamed up with fellow Nigerian artist Shalipoppi for a collaborative track called “Benin Boys.” That single will be featured on HEIS, alongside a new song called “HEHEHE.”

On “HEHEHE,” Rema reflects on his global success as an artist and taunts those who ever doubted him along the way.

“Account balance don dey resemble dem politician / They say I live like a fraudster,” he quips. “We no dеy show am for Insta / Scatter thе club wey we enter.”

The Nigerian star is coming off of a global festival run that has already seen him perform shows in Spain, Romania and France. This weekend, he’ll hit Wireless Festival in London before making his way to Afro Nation in Detroit.
