Here's a Detailed Look at the Louis Vuitton x Timberland Boots

As a part of the workwear capsule from the Louis Vuitton Fall/Winter 2024 collection, the Timberland boots collaboration leads the Western-inspired line from the French luxury house.
Hypebeast receives an exclusive detailed look of the collaboration that highlights the French maison’s latest partnership with the American footwear brand. The new co-branded boots are constructed out of premium Italian nubuck leather and retains the structure of Timberland’s storied silhouettes. Although the collaboration only arrives in two designs, they will each release in various styles. Each of the shoes promise added comfort with the padded collars and soft footbed. Ensuring ample support and versatility for various weather conditions, the boots are also waterproof and feature a rubber lug outsole. Fit for colder conditions and heavy duty expeditions, the boots are also lined with a warm, down-free PrimalLoft insulation.
The new LV 6 Boots bear similarity to the original six-inch Timberland boots. This collaboration features subtle touches of Louis Vuitton house codes throughout. The iconic LV monogram is embossed throughout as the pattern also hits the tongue, as well as the eyelets and leather tags. As for the other LV Boot, it is a bolder and chunkier edition to the six-inch boot, magnifying the shoe by 15% to give a bolder aesthetic. Louis Vuitton drops the chunkier version in four styles — pull-on harness boot, pull-on mid boot, ankle boot and the ranger boot. Both the LV 6 Boots and the LV Boot arrive in the black or wheat colorway. These pairs range between $2,400 USD and $2,900 USD, almost $2,000 USD more than the price of a regular pair of Tims.
The release also sees an “exceptional edition” pair that is only limited to 50 pieces of the six-inch ankle boots monogrammed with signature LV pattern. Constructed in premium Italian leather for the exterior, the rubber lug outsole is customized and the shoe also features 18-carat gold hardware. The gold highlights the LV initials on the tongue where the words from menswear creative director Pharrell Williams read “The sun is shining on us.” These were the exact words he stated before his debut show as the new creative lead for Louis Vuitton. These special edition boots are priced at over $80,000 USD and come in a leather and plexiglass box.
