Kevin Abstract Drops Second New Single of the Week, "Creek"
Enlisting Nourished by Time.
Kevin Abstract has clearly been cooking up. Earlier this week, the BROCKHAMPTON rapper dropped off his first follow-up single to his most recent LP Blanket dubbed “Big Dog.” Today, Abstract delivered another standalone single; this one is a dreamy three-and-a-half cut dubbed “Creek” which comes complete with an assist from Nourished by Time.
Like “Big Dog,” “Creek” is solely available to stream on YouTube via the official BROCKHAMPTON channel.
Nourished by Time delivers the chorus while Abstract continues to get back into his rap bag on the verses – a place he notably strayed more from on Blanket. “Be my bullet / Imma be your gun / Lust is a dog / I feed it when I feel like,” he spits in the first verse.
The two-and-a-half-minute “Big Dog,” which he surprise-dropped on Monday, signaled the first return to form for Abstract, rapping over a beat produced by Romil, BROCKHAMPTON’s main producer.
