Jake Paul took on former UFC star Mike Perry this weekend and came out a champion. Defeating Perry in the sixth round with a TKO, the YouTuber turned boxer dropped Perry three times during the fight.

Right out of the gate, Paul dominated Perry, who was just fight for the second time as a professional boxer. Going down in the first and second round, Perry did hold on and continued to fight valiantly. Unfortunately, his defence against Paul was not enough as he later lost due to the sixth-round stoppage. Paul was meant to face-off against legendary heavyweight champion Mike Tyson. However, due to a recent health scare, the fight has been pushed back. Perry struggled consistently against Paul’s back hand and was unable to regain his footing. Perry resorted to using dirty tactics to wrestle Paul before landing a left hoo in the second round. Paul continued to dominate in the fourth round, wobbling Perry with a jab. Leaving Perry with a bloody face, he held on until Paul dropped him in the sixth round.

In a post-fight interview in the ring, Paul called out Mike Tyson saying that he his next. He also called out Alex Pereira, claiming that he wants to fight him next. Following his win, rival Conor McGregor took to social media to share his perspective of Paul as a fighter, seemingly going on a rampage and even blasting Perry. McGregor wrote on X, “Jake Paul is the biggest pissbag I have ever seen in my life. 40 pound weight difference, juiced out of his head, and still shitting himself in there. Nakisa [Bidarian], you should take him to Vegas — oh that’s right you could never, the athletic commission testing, real testing, real fighting. Bitch asses. You could never.” He added, “And then calling out 60-year-old Mike Tyson fresh off an in-flight medical emergency? I swear to god, a fat can of bitch piss. Most valuable pissbag.”

Clearly disappointed in Perry’s loss, McGregor also took to X to state, “Hey Mike youre released and you can go and compete in your smelly dirty boxing championship thing, the smell of it, good luck. You’re fired.
@bareknucklefc.” Paul was asked about McGregor’s rant after the match and he responded, “That’s f**ked up that he fired your BKFC champion. I told you that was going to happen. I told you exactly what was going to happen.” He then took aim at McGregor and taunted him, “He was big upping his boy Mike Perry — I said, ‘Okay Conor, after I f**k up Mike Perry, then you’re next. So Conor’s on Twitter all the time. He’s on his yacht all the time. Guess where he’s not? In the ring, fighting me.” So he can talk all the f*ck he wants, but The Notorious MMA is scared of Jake Joseph Paul from Disney channel. And I put that on my mama.”
