“This body of work represents the greatest shift in consciousness our world has ever seen and that’s reflected in the music,” said Lord Littlemore.

Empire of the Sun, the musical duo comprising Emperor Steele and Lord Littlemore, has returned to release their first album in eight years, titled Ask That God.

The 12-track project, which includes the pair’s previously released songs “Cherry Blossom,” “Changes” and “Music On The Radio,” represents “the greatest shift in consciousness our world has ever seen and that’s reflected in the music,” according to Lord Littlemore.

“We are nothing more than conduits, gathering experience and finding what is meant for the Empire to find,” explained Emperor Steele in a statement. “We know these songs have wings, and once they are released, they will fly and find a home with all kinds of souls all over the planet.”

Alongside the album’s debut, Empire of the Sun has released an official music video for “The Feeling You Get,” which was directed by Michael Maxxis with support from artist AUJIK.

Empire of the Sun will take Ask That God on a tour across the US, Mexico and Australia this fall. The duo will kick things off at Sydney’s Hordern Pavillion on October 24, before hitting stops in Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Mexico City, Guadalajara, Los Angeles, Brooklyn and more through the end of November.
