Still to this day, Frank Lloyd Wright is one of the most famous architects, not just in American history, but in world history – designing over 1,000 structures in a 70-year time frame. Keen on bridging humans and the environment, the beautiful nature-leaning builds still invoke awe from perusers of residential architecture both young and old. So whenever one of his creations hits the market, it makes noise. Now Wright’s Robert D. & Winifred L. Winn House is up for grabs for $1.85 million USD.

Located in Kalamazoo, Michigan, the late American architect created the home in 1950 – boasting a block and concrete build that’s accentuated by warm wood details. Like many of Wright’s builds, the house sees his signature harmony with nature design alongside his affinity for open floor plans. But alongside those core attributes, the house sees custom-built furniture and large windows that allow for views of Little Asylum Lake.

Additionally, the 229.4 square meter house includes three bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms. Other touches that give the space its warm, yet classic touch are a curving main facade, interior Earth hues, a fireplace and a patio. Take a look at the residence in the gallery above.

Frank Lloyd Wright’s Robert D. & Winifred L. Winn House is now for sale by Fred Taber and Chuck Jacqua of Jacqua Realtors.
