adidas Celebrates 'Deadpool and Wolverine' with Capsule Collection
Created in collaboration with Marvel Studios — featuring sneakers, cleats and apparel items.
adidas has announced a collaborative collection with Marvel Studios in celebration of the upcoming release of Deadpool & Wolverine. This exclusive line, which marks the first Deadpool-inspired collection from adidas, will be available in select markets starting August 1, following the film’s U.S. theater release on July 26.
The adidas x Marvel Studios’ Deadpool & Wolverine collection includes a blend of adidas Originals and performance footwear and apparel, all inspired by the franchise’s third film starring Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman. The collection features two themed Rivalry Low shoes, an adizero Electric cleat, graphic tees and an adidas Originals silhouette, which will be revealed when the film hits theaters.
Fans can look forward to bold color blocking and distinct details that reflect Deadpool and Wolverine‘s iconic characters. The Deadpool-inspired Rivalry Low and adizero Electric cleat boast tongue-in-cheek jokes on sock liners, censored language characters and storage pouches, nodding to Deadpool’s quirky costume. Meanwhile, the Wolverine-inspired Rivalry Low pays homage to the classic yellow Wolverine suit, making its debut in the film.
Building on adidas’ longstanding partnership with Marvel, which includes successful collections like Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, this new line is set to be a hit among fans and moviegoers alike. This latest collection will be available for purchase via the adidas app, online, in stores and at select retailers starting August 1.
