norda Officially Reveals the World's Most Durable Duffle Bag
Dubbed the “Toolbox,” the bag is made entirely of bio-Dyneema, a material that’s 15 times stronger than steel by weight.

Update: After teasing its “Toolbox” duffle bag — an extremely lightweight, ultra-durable bag made of bio-based Dyneema — norda has officially revealed the duffle and provided more info about its features.
A high-volume, easy-carry bag with a 70L capacity, the “Toolbox” features a modular dual strap setup that enables it to either be carried by hand, slung over the wearer’s shoulder or worn as a backpack — the top flap is padded to ensure comfort if worn on the user’s back as well. Two external pockets are made of mesh for quick access to necessary goods and a non-woven ultralight fabric on the interior enables items stowed inside to breathe: for example, if your trail shoes got wet during a run you could stow them without fear of them becoming waterlogged or moldy. Side cinches also allow for the “Toolbox” to compress its storage space, and when empty, it can even be packed into the accompanying Bio-Dyneema dry sack.
The norda “Toolbox” duffle bag will be released via the brand’s webstore at 6 AM ET today, June 18. It’s priced at $595 USD. Read the original article below for more info.
Original Story: Montreal-based norda has made a name for itself among hardcore trail runners for its endlessly durable, incredibly adaptable footwear — and among street style savants for its clean designs, inspired by, among other things, the principles of Dieter Rams and the lines of the Porsche 911 — with its 001, 002 and 003 models garnering a devoted fan base. Now, however, the brand is expanding its non-footwear offerings with the norda Toolbox, a duffle bag made entirely of Bio-Dyneema, a material up to 15 times stronger than the same weight of steel.
The brand has only released teaser images and a handful of details so far, but the duffle appears to arrive in a white-and-black color scheme and boast multiple internal compartments for storage. It also comes with backpack straps, enabling users to either sling it over their shoulder or wear it on their back, and is even accompanied by a waterproof dry bag in “Stealth Black.” This isn’t the first time that norda has experimented with Dyneema applications outside of footwear: in 2022, they teamed with CIOMORO for a bespoke waterproof jacket made of Dyneema and limited to only 10 units.
You can expect norda’s Toolbox duffle bag to release on its webstore come June 18. More details will likely be available then, so stay tuned.
