Ice Spice’s debut album is just around the corner with a release date of Friday, July 26. To get fans ready the Bronx-raised rapper alongside her producer and friend RiotUSA, has been dropping a selection of album tracks while announcing the forthcoming world tour, which is set to kick off on July 4. The latest in the building is the release of the Y2K! opening track, “Phat Butt.”

“Hatin’ b*tches be angry, hatin’ b*tches, they ain’t me/How the f*ck I’m still chewin’ b*tches in gray shorts and a plain tee?/Mad as f*ck if I was them, D&G and it’s custom/Cuban Link with a pink gem, I’m the one who they pumpin’ (Yup)/Rap b*tch on a pop chart, toastin’ b*tches like Pop-Tarts/You’s a flop, b*tch, knock it off, where the champagne? I’ma pop it off/B*tch, you know you ain’t like that, post a pic and he like that/Fat butt with a back tatand I been bad like Mike Jack (Yup), raps Ice Spice in the first verse.”

Although Ice Spice has her slew of rap and pop-leaning hits that have pushed her to stardom, the opening track is clear that the rapper is coming to do just that with her breakout project, rap. Even with sonic/rap elements that nod to Nicki Minaj, Ice Spice still puts her own spin on the forthcoming album’s opening track.

Take a listen to “Phat Butt” in the accompanying music video above.
