Hodinkee and Carl F. Bucherer have teamed up to release a limited-edition timepiece that blends vintage charm with modern sophistication. The Carl F. Bucherer Heritage Worldtimer Limited Edition for Hodinkee is a tribute to a classic 1950s world timer, designed with contemporary travelers in mind.
The watch features a 39mm stainless steel case that is both modern and wearable, measuring 10.25mm in thickness. The dial is a striking matte-varnished blue, complemented by engraved rhodium hour markers and a semi-matte 24-hour ring. This design offers a subtle two-tone effect, balancing retro and modern aesthetics.
Underneath the sapphire caseback lies the heart of the watch: the CFB A2020 automatic caliber. This COSC-certified chronometer boasts a 55-hour power reserve and Carl F. Bucherer’s signature peripheral winding rotor, which is notable for sitting on the same plane as the movement rather than atop it.
Limited to just 150 pieces worldwide, 50 of those include a unique-to-Hodinkee caseback engraving. It comes on a multi-row stainless steel bracelet that enhances its mid-century look and includes an additional grey Saffiano leather strap, both featuring a quick-release system for easy swapping.
