Oakley Outfits Team USA Surfers in "Offshore" Collection

Oakley is the latest label to ride the 2024 Olympics wave, partnering up with Team USA Surfing as the “Official Offshore Outfitter” for the team’s return to the games. When the surfers get out of the water, they’ll don pieces from Oakley’s new Offshore collection, which spans a bevy of fresh and fully functional apparel as well as, of course, elevated eyewear.

“Tailored specifically for non-competition mode,” per a press release, the Team USA Offshore Collection pulls design inspiration from the ocean while still prioritizing functionality. Garments are crafted from breathable, high-end fabrics and come equipped with reliable technical features like ergonomic seaming and intentional trim detailing.

Led by a windbreaker and tech fleece, the collection also consists of convertible pants, tech fleece shorts, a poncho and a rashguard. Tees, tanks and 2-in-1 boardshort round out the range with a compression bra and a women’s skirt also available.

“Inspired by the ocean colors and reflections, our designs and prints draw inspiration from the natural beauty and velocity of the waves, which athletes set in motion during competition and in turn empower them to proudly showcase their Team USA pride after their performance in the water,” explained Oakley’s apparel design director Massimo Nicosia.

Oakley’s Team USA Offshore eyewear capsule is available to shop now at the brand’s official webstore. The apparel aspect of the Offshore collection is expected to land for purchase sometime this summer.
