A New A. Lange & Söhne Salon Opens in London’s Mayfair
Marking the Maison’s third retail location in the city.
Luxury German watch manufacturer A. Lange & Söhne has opened the doors to its newest location in Mayfair, London. Continuing to reinforce its presence in the city, the new salon marks the third retail location for the brand in London, this time on Davies Street. The locale is surrounded by galleries, fine-dine restaurants and luxury stores, while also being within walking distance from Green Park and Hyde Park.
The new watch salon takes home on the first floor of Bourdon House, a Grade II listed historic building that was also previously occupied by Dunhill as their flagship. Its exteriors retain its classical appeal, while the interiors offer a modern, cozy yet elegant lounge for guests, where they can admire many of the Maison’s iconic timepieces up close.
A clock featuring the emblematic outsize date is perhaps one of the most noteworthy highlights in the salon decor-wise. While this nods to a hallmark for the Maison, its design also derives cues from the renowned five-minute clock at the Dresden Semper Opera House.
