De Bethune Adds Two New Timekeepers to Its DB Eight Lineup
Arriving in royal blue and chocolate brown dial colors.
Independent haute horlogerie watchmaker De Bethune has revealed two newly-iterated DB Eight references. Last year, the Maison unveiled a silvery-dialed variant that exudes understated allure and clad in titanium. Joining the lineup now are two sophisticated and classic colorways. One edition stars a royal blue dial encased in white gold, while the other pairs a lusciously chocolate-hued dial with a yellow gold case.
Presented in a balanced and elegant dial design, both variants maintain the same aesthetic codes as their predecessor. The classic two-register look continues to spotlight a guilloché inner dial and a barley grained-60-minute instantaneous minute counter on the 6 o’clock position. Cursive Arabic numeral and delicate leaf-shaped hands complete the dial in a makeover that echoes their respective case materiality.
The case diameter measures 42.4mm, while the watch case comes at 9.2mm in thickness with ogival lugs. At the core of the reference is the DB3000 manual-winding movement, which can be viewed through the open sapphire crystal caseback.
