Sun Day Red From Tiger Woods Is Officially Here

Driven by Tiger’s desire to ‘not feel like he’s wearing anything.’

It’s now been more than five months since Tiger Woods and Nike elected not to renew their long running partnership. And after months of anticipation the first drop from Sun Day Red, the new golf apparel brand from the 15-time major champion and TaylorMade, has finally landed.⁠

The collection is titled “The Hunt” and previews the colors that Woods will wear later this month at the PGA Championship across performance and knit polos, training gear and lifestyle essentials. The 3D Lightweight Hoodie, for example, was driven by Tiger’s desire to ‘not feel like he’s wearing anything’ and easily transition from the gym to the golf course.⁠ The garment is built from a stretchy knit fabric and is completely void of seams allowing for freedom of movement. The Delta PQ Polo, on the other hand, is a style that Tiger has already worn in competitive play and utilizes a more lightweight synthetic blend.

Woods appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday night to talk about the inspiration behind Sun Day Red, and then had a similar discussion the following morning on The Today Show with Carson Daly.
