Lil Baby and Central Cee Are Going “BAND4BAND” in New Track and Video
A convergence of UK and Atlanta rap influences.
Two of the heaviest hitters in rap right now have teamed up for an infectious new track. Central Cee’s “BAND4BAND” enlists Lil Baby for a fast-paced montage of the rappers flexing their wealth.
The song fuses Central Cee’s distinctly UK rap sound with Lil Baby’s own Atlanta influences. The duo also filmed an extravagant music video in London, showing off a private jet, expensive jewelry and a a fleet of Lamborghini Urus cars.
“I’m not in the mood ’cause my flight delayed / So I jumped on a private jet and I’m askin’ the pilot the ETA / Lambo’ parked on the landin’ strip, everyone in my gang and my DJ paid,” Cee raps in his usual quick-witted style.
Baby joins in with slower-paced verses, while still keeping the energy high, bragging that he can “go watch for watch / from chain to chain.”
Cee dropped the solo track “I Will” in February, which was rumored to be a cut from his third studio album, CC3. Baby’s last release also arrived in February in the form of a feature on French Montana’s “Okay.”
