Who remembers how to burn a CD?

Notorious for its witty and sharp design approach – literally, crafting a Knife-shaped mirror a few months back – Drought has delivered another nostagic capsule to add to its archive. Drought is again paying tribute to the good ole days of the early Internet, following up its previous “Web Surfer” bracelet and X-Box-inspired coaster set with a three-part capsule in partnership with audio-sharing platform Napster.

The capsule consists of three pieces – a bag, a candle, and a bracelet – each of which pulls directly from Napster’s digitally-driven aesthetic.

“Each piece in the collection is designed to be a conversation starter and statement piece,” Drought conveyed in a press release.

Take a closer look at the pieces in the gallery below.

The “Cat Bag” draws inspiration from Napster’s notable cat logo, reimagining the friendly feline’s face on a functional messenger bag.  Elsewhere, the “To Burn a CD Candle” pulls from the nearly archaic act of burning a CD.

Rounding out the range is the statement jewelry piece dubbed the “Peer-to-Peer Bracelet.” Pulling from Napster’s most important functionality of peer-to-peer sharing, the bracelet strings together a slew of Napster cat logos in different colors.

Cop a piece from the Drought x Napster collab at Drought’s official webstore beginning May 31.
