Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is set to touch down before the year is out — with publisher Activision supposedly targeting a late October release — and the marketing train has now officially left the station with the debut of the game’s first and second teasers.

The first teaser, shown in the Tweet below, shows “live” footage of a group vandalizing Mount Rushmore with banners that spell out “The Truth Lies” draped over the eyes of its famous sculptures, while the second shows the same group putting up “The Truth Lies” posters. Both dropped as part of a larger teaser website for the game: thetruthlies.com, an address that shows a TV with six different “channels,” the other four of which will likely showcase further teaser content.

Besides this official reveal, a blurred image purporting to be an obscured version of the game’s cover art has been making the rounds on X. Even with the blur, the image clearly calls out to the cover of the first Call Of Duty: Black Ops title.

IGN has reported that Microsoft will announce Call of Duty: Black Ops 6‘s release directly into the Game Pass service during its forthcoming June Xbox showcase, and that the full Call of Duty back catalog will be available on Game Pass before Black Ops 6 drops in October. Though this has yet to be confirmed by Microsoft, IGN also notes that it falls in line with recent comments from Xbox president Sarah Bond, who said all games developed by Microsoft will be available for launch day play on Game Pass — and earlier this year, Microsoft acquired Activision after a prolonged process.

No further details are available at the time of writing, but more will likely be revealed on thetruthlies.com in the coming days, and at Xbox’s next showcase on June 9.
