A.P.C. Releases Debut Eyewear Collection
The unisex models are named after members of The Velvet Underground.

A.P.C. continues its foray into accessories with the debut of their first ever eyewear collection.
Comprised of four unisex models, each sunglasses pair is named after a member or collaborator of The Velvet Underground and utilizes matching anti-glare lenses with high UV protection. The “Lou,” named after frontman Lou Reed, arrives with a retro-futuristic shape in hues of smoky gray, khaki, clear and black, while the “Moe,” named after the band’s second drummer Maureen Tucker, is a square silhouette that mixes metal and acetate in matte gold and tortoiseshell, and black and khaki marble.
Meanwhile, the “Nico,” named after the German singer, model and actress, is crafted with round metal and acetate frames in tortoiseshell and yellow. Rounding out the collection is the “Sterling,” a classic aviator model in dark tortoiseshell and marbled khaki, and receives its name from guitarist and founding member Sterling Morrison. All four silhouettes are discreetly branded with the engraved A.P.C. logo on the lenses and temples, and arrive with a faux leather case embossed with silver-tone letters and a microfiber cloth with a quote from Jean Touitou that reads “wait and see.”
