McDonald's Japan Launches Limited Edition Asian Sweets Desserts
Taking inspiration from Chinese, Vietnamese and Filipino cuisine.

McDonald’s Japan highlights the sweet treats of Asia with a new limited edition dessert menu.
The latest menu promotes desserts reminiscent of Chinese, Vietnamese and Filipino cuisine. First up is the McFlurry Almond Mango ice cream, served with a rich milk flavor, a cream that resembles almond tofu, mango sauce created with mango puree and a crunchy, red almond-flavored corn crush similar to goji berries. There’s also the Banana Caramel Pie, with a banana filling and smooth caramel cream made with brown sugar and condensed milk that’s stuffed inside a crispy pie baked with banana pulp and puree. Rounding out the menu is the McShake Salt Lychee, which gives off a fruity aroma and sweetness made with lychee juice.
All three menu items will available at McDonald’s Japan branches starting June 5.
