Mini drivers have gained traction in golf in recent years as modern drivers push the limits of distance, sometimes at the expense of accuracy. So for those looking to find a few more fairways, the mini driver has become a valid option. And if you loved last year’s nostalgic TaylorMade BRNR Mini Driver, then wait until you see the latest version. Just released today, the BRNR Mini Driver Copper calls to mind the late 90s Burner drivers with its signature copper styling and throwback branding across the sole and face.

When it comes to performance, you can expect a similar lineup of features to last year’s BRNR Mini. 13 gram movable weights in the front and back of the clubhead allow golfers to prioritize either a low spin or more forgiving (high MOI) setup. A 4° loft sleeve, meanwhile, dials in launch conditions, and the K-SOLE assists turf interaction on shots from the fairway. Lastly, TaylorMade’s signature Twist Face aims to help golfer’s on mishits across the toe and heel.

The TaylorMade BRNR Mini Driver Copper is priced at $450 USD and can be purchased at retail or on TaylorMade’s website now. It comes in either 11.5 or 13.5 degrees of loft, and a matching retro UST Mamiya ProForce 65 shaft and Golf Pride Victory grip.
