This unregistered gem has been preserved in a climate-controlled environment since its delivery nearly a decade ago and is estimated to fetch as much as $2,000,000 USD.
This specific Porsche 918 Spyder, Serial no. 513, stands out with its Rhodium Silver Metallic exterior over a luxurious Black leather interior. The vehicle comes directly from its original owner, who has maintained single ownership without ever taking it on the road. This upcoming auction presents an unparalleled opportunity to become the first registered owner of this nearly new automotive marvel.
The vehicle’s pedigree is enhanced by its Weissach package, a high-performance option that reduces the car’s weight by an additional 45 kg through the use of magnesium alloy wheels, fire-resistant fabric and six-point harnesses, among other features. This package was a significant add-on, which cost $80,000 USD on top of the base price, designed to maximize performance and agility.
Under the hood, the Porsche 918 Spyder features a mid-mounted 608 hp, 4.6L V-8 engine, supplemented by two electric motors that contribute an additional 279 hp. This hybrid setup delivers a staggering total output of 887 hp, propelling the car from 0 to 60 mph in just over two seconds, with a top speed surpassing 200 mph. Its sophisticated design includes a regenerative braking system and innovative aerodynamics, developed for exceptional performance.
