Kim Jones and Dior continue to give the Oblique motif its moment for Fall 2024.

In its latest Dior Gravity Leather capsule, Jones reimagines the emblematic motifs in two dimensions — one for small leather goods and other everyday bags and a maximal iteration. The unique embossing of the Oblique pattern emphasizes the house’s savoire-faire technique, which delicately marks the leather with the help of gravity. The collection, aptly named “Dior Gravity,” distinguishes itself from traditional house tropes, bringing a contemporary and trend-forwards iteration its grained texture and supple effect.

Revealed in a palette featuring shades of beige, black and khaki, Dior’s heritage continues to be celebrated amongst various accessories like the messenger and weekend bags, belts and card holders as well as the B33 and B27 sneakers. Heritage tropes are revamped for the modern aesthetic, adding to the functionality and uniqueness of the graphics. Jones gives Dior his signature clean and minimalistic style, paying deep attention to detail throughout all aspects of the collection.

The Dior Gravity Leather capsule arrives in-stores on May 2 globally and online.
