ICECREAM Launches 420 Capsule
In two-piece release.
With April 20 around the corner, ICECREAM has teamed up with New York City’s own Gotham for a 420 capsule release. The premium skate label founded by NIGO and Pharrell continue to drop various collections in time with cultural moments.
Intersecting the fashion and cannabis culture, the upcoming drop is a two-piece capsule to celebrate the events of 420. ICECREAM enlists Gotham, a premium cannabis concept store has an ethos that focuses on imaging a space for superior cannabis in the city, to celebrate 420 in tandem with releasing the capsule.. Located in the East Village, Gotham brands itself as the go-to luxury and legal stop for recreational weed dispensary.
To celebrate the day, ICECREAM’s 420 capsule that includes a white long-sleeve t-shirt featuring ICECREAM’s iconic Running Dog motif and branding spelled out on the sleeves. The design features cannabis-inspired motifs while a classic hoodie designed with the ICECREAM slogan “Let’s have some,” is applied in a tri-color screen-printed graphic on both sleeves. 420-inspired graphics inform both pieces. The launch comes as a part of the ICECREAM x Gotham 420 Experience hosted at the BBC ICECREAM Soho Flagship on April 20. The first 100 shoppers who purchase a new item from the 420 capsule will also be receiving an additional special gift and discount card redeemable at Gotham on their next purchase.
