Just last month, it was reported that the PHANTACi Nike Air Max 1 “Grand Piano” is set to be reissuing later this year after 15 years. The shoe sparks great nostalgia from fans, especially those a fan of Jay Chou. Th collaboration was initially released in 2009 for a limited run of just 400 pairs in Taiwan. A collaboration between the boutique PHANTACi, which is co-directed by the “King of Mandopop,” the shoe has now surfaced in a new Friends and Family edition.

Continuing to echo the elegance of the grand piano, the colorway sees a reverse black and white make up from the original. With a black leather upper base and white overlays to contrast, the shoe’s signature pink hits the inner lining and the Swoosh. To commemorate the 18th anniversary of the brand, the No. “18” and “PHANTACi” are seen on the tongue. The shoe also arrives with two special edition dubraes in pink and gold while it sits atop a black midsole and pink rubber outsole to round out the design.
