Tyla and Travis Scott Are a Drippy Duo on the "Water" Remix
Unveiling a captivating music video for the bouncy cut.
When Tyla tapped Travis Scott for the “Water” remix back in November, fans went wild. Today, the duo got wet and wild in the track’s music video, dropping off a drippy sequence of visuals to complement the remix.
The video, directed by Nabil Elderkin, arrives a few days before Tyla’s self-titled debut album, which is slated to hit streaming this Friday. Tyla and Trav – who dons a Balenciaga racing suit – begin on separate sides of the steamy glass shower as she delivers the first verse and chorus.
“When you’re low, keep you hot like flame (Flame) / Can make your whole life change (Change) / She’s a palm body, yeah, but the wrist plain,” he slides into his verse, as the two then find themselves on the same side of the glass. Stream the full video above.
“Everything that’s happening has surpassed anything I could have dreamt of,” Tyla shared of her imminent project in an Instagram caption. “African music is going global and I’m so blessed to be one of the artists pushing the culture. I’ve been working on my sound for 2 years now and I’m so ready for the world to hear it.”
