Winner of MrBeast's Reality Competition Series Will Receive $5 Million USD Cash Prize
The prize sets the record as the most expensive cash prize in TV history.
The winner of Beast Games, MrBeast‘s upcoming Prime Video reality competition show, is set to take home TV’s most expensive cash prize — $5 million USD.
According to Variety, the $5 million USD reward is “believed to be the largest single payout ever in TV history.” Details of Beast Games’ challenges are yet to be announced, but Prime Video has stated that 1,000 contestants will be fighting for the cash prize in a “fast-paced and high-production format.”
“My goal is to make the greatest show possible and prove YouTubers and creators can succeed on other platforms,” MrBeast said in a statement. “Amazon gave me the creative control I need to try and make it happen. I hope to make the YouTube community proud.”
