Update: Official images of the Stash x Nike Air Max 95 have hit Nike SNKRS ahead of the collaboration’s highly-anticipated return on December 13, and, besides providing the best look yet at the forthcoming retro, they showcase some notable material differences. Where the original 2006 release used a near-full suede application across the Air Max 95’s anatomy-inspired upper paneling, this retro opts for a half-and-half assemblage, with suede towards the midsole that gives way to synthetic leather and textiles towards the top. The lace loops provide another notable difference from the original, as they’re of an exposed webbing variety that feeds through the eyelets instead of the Air Max 95’s standard concealed eyestays.
That’s not all, either. Where the original pair’s tongues used standard Air Max graphics, this iteration features Stash’s signature on the right shoe’s tongue and his arrow logo on the left tongue — and also applies his repeating fat cap motif across a piece of the outsole (fear not: it’s still on the insoles as well). Hi-vis reflective hits appear on both the tongue and heel and a finishing touch is provided by the box, which offers a custom graffiti print on the inside of its lid.
Look for the Stash x Nike Air Max 95 to touch down on Nike SNKRS and Stash’s webstore on December 13 with an MSRP of $200 USD, and read the original story/previous updates below for more info.
Update: Just over a year after its return was first rumored, we’ve finally been given an official release date for the return of the Stash x Nike Air Max 95. The artist himself took to Instagram to share a Tyler “Arab Lincoln” Mansour teaser image of the shoe’s outsole buried under spray caps that’s with a revealing caption “Blue is Back 12.13.24.”
When the Stash x Nike Air Max 95’s return was first rumored in November 2023, it was initially thought that the sneaker would return at the tail end of 2024. However, Stash posted a pixelated iteration of the shoe on his Instagram back in March 2024, which was interpreted by some as an indication that it would be released on Air Max Day 2024 or 2025. But indeed, it’s releasing before the year is out — look for the sneaker to touch down on Stash’s Blue Works Studio webstore and Nike SNKRS come December 13. It’s priced at $200 USD.
Update: In celebration of Air Max Day, American graffiti artist and frequent Nike collaborator Stash has teased the return of his legendary Air Max 95 from 2006. The pair was previously rumored to return in late 2024, however, Stash has now shared a pixelated image of what looks to be the sneaker, noting “Air Max Day 2025” in the caption. Given that next year is the 30th anniversary of the Air Max 95, it’d be a fitting release to include. Stay tuned for updates, including an early preview of the sneaker in the months to come, as we eagerly await more info regarding the return of this sought-after sneaker.

Original Story: The Brooklyn-based graffiti artist, Stash, has teamed up again with Nike for a new Air Max 95.
Stash first linked up with the sportswear giant in 2006 for its “Artist Series” releasing a black and multicolored blue iteration of the Nike Air Max 95. Since its release, the shoe has been deemed a coveted collaboration – going for as high as several thousand in the current resale market. Now several years after their initial collab, the two are working on another Air Max 95 for the Holiday 2024 season.
As of now, few details have been released regarding the styles or details of the forthcoming shoe. It’s possible that the two could be working on a retro release of a completely new design. Regardless of which direction they head in, it is expected that co-branding will appear throughout alongside special packaging and multiple shoestring sets.
Stay tuned for more details about the forthcoming Stash x Nike Air Max 95 collaboration, which is set to release during the Holiday 2024 season.
