Acne Studios‘ Spring/Summer 2024 campaign dazzles with K-Pop’s newest sensation, ILLIT. The girl group, set to release their debut album SUPER REAL ME on March 25, aligns with Acne Studios for a collaboration that merges the realms of fashion and music. Jonny Johansson, Acne Studios’ Creative Director celebrates this union by emphasizing the synergy between two dynamic industries.
Captured in London, the campaign features ILLIT in SS24’s standout looks, bathed in soft pastels and showcasing the brand’s new “Multipocket” and “Platt Mini Shoulder Bags”. The shoot marks ILLIT’s first European journey, a dreamlike experience they eagerly shared, anticipating the campaign’s global impact.
Emerging from the survival show R U Next? in 2023, ILLIT consists of five members — YUNAH, MINJU, MOKA, WONHEE, and IROHA. Dubbed as the first girl group from BELIFT LAB, a joint venture between HYBE (home to BTS and LE SSERAFIM), ILLIT stands as the newest addition to the HYBE LABELS family, promising a fresh and dynamic entry into the K-Pop scene.
Launched globally on March 14, the Acne Studios and ILLIT partnership not only highlights emerging talent but also the profound connection between music’s rhythm and fashion’s evolving narrative. ILLIT, embodying independence and a fresh perspective, promises to bring a unique spark to the fashion world, with Acne Studios as their stylish conduit.
