Belstaff Pays Tribute to Its Defining Apparel Stalwarts
Releasing a dedicated capsule collection and commemorative book.
In light of its 100th anniversary, Belstaff is shining the spotlight on its most iconic garments with the release of a new capsule collection, accompanying campaign as well as a commemorative book looking back at its legacy.
Ranging from outerwear to accessories, the “Centenary” capsule comprises 26 limited-edition pieces that are updated iterations of their original designs. Reworked in new fabrics and high-quality finishes to specially designed prints and dedicated color palettes, the arrival comes together as a more technical and aesthetically refined vision of the heritage brand’s celebrated identity.
At the forefront of the capsule lands Belstaff’s archetypal Field Jacket. In its latest edition, the durable, military-inspired outerwear piece is clad with a variety of added features including a carabiner clip, 100-year embroidery, and the option to attach the Centenary Quilt Jacket as a liner. Perhaps the most innovative feature woven into the garment is the new Centenary Cloth – a polished, leather-look cotton poplin that embraces weathered wear with an evolving patina.
Other special edition jackets in the range include the reversible Parka, Racer, Outlaw Motorcycle, and Valiant Motorcycle. As well as adopting functional, internal components, they are also reworked with timeless Black, British Khaki, and Chalk tones, and a new map print referencing the brand’s roots in Stoke-On-Trent. Alongside these pieces, the capsule incorporates a minimal Centenary logo emblazoned on its sweatshirts, T-shirts, and caps.

Its milestone anniversary also sees the brand call on a cast of real-life Belstaff enthusiasts to star in the capsule’s campaign. From its latest collaborator Corbin Shaw to veteran motorcyclists and style icons, the campaign ties their memories and experiences of the brand together, juxtaposing personal photographs with shots of them in the new collection.
Similarly, the new Belstaff book – titled Our First 100 Years – provides a compendium of stories edited by Belstaff director Jodie Harrison and writer Charlie Porter. With interviews, archive imagery, timelines, and retellings of historical moments, the documentation comes together as vibrant and informative, making it a must-have coffee table book for heritage fashion enthusiasts.
