André 3000 To Perform Intimate ‘New Blue Sun’ Shows at LA’s Luna Luna
Playing four shows at the revived art carnival.

Just days after wrapping up his New Blue Sun tour, André 3000 has shared that he’ll be taking the flute album to Luna Luna: Forgotten Fantasy. The revived version of the world’s first art carnival, which first opened in 1987 in Hamburg, Germany, is once again welcoming visitors in its new Los Angeles post.
While most of the original attractions aren’t available to ride, fans will now be able to see 3 Stacks perform at the park. The artist will be joined by the same collaborators he recorded the album with and has been touring with throughout the US: Carlos Niño, Nate Mercereau, Surya Botofasina and Deantoni Parks.
André’s performance will take place in front of the original ferris wheel designed by artist Jean-Michel Basquiat. Nearby, visitors will also be able to view works by Salvador Dalí and Roy Lichtenstein.
Only 425 guests will be able to attend each show with four shows set to go down across March 18 and 19. Two performances are scheduled each night at 7 pm and 10 pm. Limited edition merchandise sold at the concert feature a moon hand-drawn by the artist, a nod to the apparel sold at the original Luna Luna in Germany.
Tickets are priced at $200 USD each and available for purchase on the Universe website.
