Marvel Could Completely Remove Kang The Conqueror From MCU
Following Jonathan Majors’ guilty verdict and the box office bomb of ‘Quantumania.’
Fans may soon see the last of Jonathan Majors‘ Kang The Conqueror in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The Hollywood Reporter states that Marvel is now rewriting the projects that will prominently feature Kang to either minimize his involvement or completely remove him — including changing the title of the upcoming 2026 Avengers film The Kang Dynasty. The reports arrive in the midst of Majors dealing with the legal consequences of his domestic violence conviction, however sources note that this had been in the works over at the studio since the box office bomb of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.
Majors was dropped just hours after a Manhattan court found him guilty of “reckless assault in the third degree and harassment” following an incident involving his former partner Grace Jabbari, whom he met while she was serving as a movement coach on the set of Quantumania.
