Mariah Carey Hops on Ariana Grande's "yes, and?" Remix
The track features Carey’s signature whistle tones and a revamped second verse.
Ariana Grande’s “yes, and?” just got the Mariah Carey treatment, in an all-new remix.
The remastered Eternal Sunshine track opens with Carey’s signature whistle tones, preparing listeners for her solo bars in the second verse: “Now, I’m so done with sharing / This hypocrisy with you / Baby, you have been rejected / Go back, no more pretending, bye.” Notably, the collaborative track marks the second output from the duo, after their 2020 Christmas hit, “Oh Santa!”
Grande took to social media to announce the “yes, and?” remix, writing, “there truly are no words that suffice. thank you from the bottom of my heart for this dream come true and for sprinkling your brilliance and magic on my little song @mariahcarey. it means more to me than i could ever possibly articulate and i cannot wait for everyone to hear this ! i love you eternally !!!!!!! 𖦹 ☼ ⋆。˚⋆ฺ.”
Carey added, ““Darling angel, I am so effing excited to be joining you on the yes, and? remix!! This is such a magical moment!! Love you MC.”
