Jordan Brand continues to expand its roster of Air Jordan sneakers each year, with its numbered line now totaling 38 entries with last year’s launch of the Air Jordan 38. At the same time, while it continues to look to the future, its roots exist were formed in the past. To this day, various silhouettes like the Air Jordan 1 are still revered as some of the best sneakers of all time, prompting the Jumpman team to continue releasing the retro looks. With so many old-school renditions, the brand has also sought to refresh these models with unique colorways, collaborations and even new versions of them. Beyond this, it has even combined various hybrid silhouettes like the Spizike offering a combination of these familiar sneakers.

For 2024, its hybrid lineup is set to expand with the introduction of the Air Jordan 2/3. Combining the upper of the Air Jordan 2 with a sole unit pulled from the Air Jordan 3, it serves a balance of both past and present. This isn’t the first time that Jordan Brand has ran this style of combination either, the Air Jordan 1.5 offered the upper of the Air Jordan 1 with the sole of an Air Jordan 2 in years past.

At the time of writing, Jordan Brand has not confirmed any details surrounding the release of this hybrid sneaker that is tentatively named the Air Jordan 2/3. Stay tuned for updates as it’s likely to appear via additional looks later this year before eventually releasing via Nike SNKRS and select retailers at an expected price of $160 USD.
