Wristcheck x Studio Underd0g Join Forces on “The Uneggspected Series”
Starring three “eggciting” designs.
Independant watch brand Studio Underd0g has linked up with Wristcheck to release a limited-edition watch capsule. Dubbed “The Uneggspected Series,” the collection presents a special trio of Generation 3 01SERIES chronographs, each sporting a playful concept that resonates with its quirky theme.
B0iled Egg features a light yellow textured dial with subtly darkened edges, while the chapter outer dial arrives in a crisp white hue. Similarly, Fried Egg also stars a light yellow fumé dial but is framed with a light yellow chapter ring instead. Meanwhile, the R0tten Egg version spotlights a lime-green color palette, with the outside of the dial featuring a pale off-yellow tone with brownish accents. Hour markers also take on the form of egg motifs, adding to the pieces’ pun-filled designs.
Attired in a 38.5mm stainless steel case that is 12.9mm thick, the new model boasts a noticeably slimmer profile than its predecessor. The precious screw-down caseback is now updated and replaced with sapphire crystal, offering an unobstructed view into the watch’s inner-workings.
The B0iled Egg and Fried Egg watches are in a limited run of 200 units each, while the R0tten Egg has even more limited availability, with only 90 examples made. All variants are priced at $800 USD and are now available to order through Wristcheck.
