JOOPITER Auctions Rare Pharrell Williams-Signed Richard Mille Watch
Considered to be the most complex automatic watch designed by the Swiss manufacturer.
Pharrell Williams is auctioning off an ultra-rare Richard Mille on JOOPITER. Rarely without his red-strapped Richard Mille RM UP-01, Pharrell has long been a friend of the friend. In previous years, Richard Mille has been a staple amongst his wrist rotation and now, he is ready to part ways with one of his most iconic pieces, the red-strapped RM 65-01.
This one-of-a-kind watch features a caseback unlike any other. I features the artist’s signature and is considered one of the more complex pieces amongst horologists. The RM 65-01 first debuted in 2020 and features over 600 components. It arrives with a split-seconds chronograph as well as a rapid automatic-winding system in the skeletonized caliber RMAC4 based on the Vaucher VMF 6710. Touching on Richard Mille’s precision, the watch operates at 5 Hz or 36,000 vibrations per hour and incorporates ultra-durable Carbon TPT.
The watch is now available for bidding until December 13 on P’s auction platform, JOOPITER. The starting bid is at $320,000 USD, a similar bid to the original 18-karat rose gold piece without Pharrell’s signature. The winning bidder will receive a unique Richard Mille experience that sees them invited to attend one of their ultra-VIP global event such as the Rallye des Légendes cross-Atlantic car rally to one of its annual yachting events such as the Richard Mille cup. The winner can bring a guest and will be invited to choose whichever event that suits their schedule best.
