2024 has been comeback season for a lot of Salomon’s archival silhouettes. The technical footwear titan has reached back into its extensive archives to breathe new life into models including the signature cold-weather stepper, the Snowclog. The latest to return to the scene is Salomon’s XT-WHISPER, which transpires in a brand new trippy colorways.
Salomon’s XT-WHISPER debuted back in 2000, making its mark as the women’s version of the brand’s XT Hawk trail shoe, defined by its softer aesthetic in comparison.
The WHISPER fits right into the XT family, continuing on the textured, layered design strategy. A mixed-material upper comes dipped in rich material and wavy SensifitTM, while Salomon’s original Quicklace technology remains in place to round out the sneaker. Landing in a first-time colorway of “Treetop / Wren / Sulphur Spring,” the 2024 WHISPER takes a bright green colorway, shown off in the lookbook above.
