The title, which means “Fifth Element”, reflects Racionais MC’s pivotal place within hip-hop culture, highlighting their contribution alongside the traditional four elements: MC, DJ, B-Boys/B-Girls, and graffiti.
This exhibition marks a significant milestone, as it is the first dedicated to the quartet—formed by Mano Brown, Ice Blue, KL Jay, and Edi Rock—who have transcended music to become cultural icons and voices for social change.
