MM6 Maison Margiela Celebrates the Year of Snake With Nods to the Chinese Zodiac
The Maison focuses on its signature “6,” the Chinese Zodiac number associated with the snake.
In celebration of the Year of the Snake, MM6 Maison Margiela has released a lineup of graphic essentials ahead of the new year. The festivity is especially fitting for MM6, whose name aligns with the number representing the snake in the Chinese Zodiac.
In the brand’s true minimalist spirit, the New Year’s themed collection juxtaposed the Maison’s numerical graphics over a red snake, with the number 6 enlarged and circled. The gender-inclusive line offers long-sleeve and short-sleeve t-shirts with large graphics on the front, accompanied by cropped and regular-fit zipper hoodies boasting the same illustration against a black jersey knit. The apparel line is topped off with a matching pair of black sweatpants featuring the miniaturized graphic below the waistband.
MM6’s signature triangular handbag is offered in multiple black leather sizes, with the smallest mini-bag equipped with a cross-body strap.
