Update: The Jordan Zion 4 popped up multiple times at the end of 2024 and Jordan Brand has now officially announced the sneaker ahead of its expected debut later this month. It is said to emphasize both the strength and speed of Zion Williamson as the shoe utilizes a low-top build that is backed by a Cushlon 3.0 drop-in midsole system that was present with the Zion 3 and a full-length parabolic Air Zoom strobel. It also utilizes a computationally designed outsole for a feel that is tailored to basketball courts while also sporting extra resistance in high-wear areas for improved durability. It debuts in “Damascus Steel,” the colorway that was previewed previously below, while also appearing in “Mud to Marble” and “Forged in Fire” looks that are pictured above in order. While Jordan Brand did not include specifics regarding release dates, the three looks are expected to drop on January 28, February 11 and March 11 respectively at a price of $140 USD each.

Update: It’s been a week since Zion Williamson’s fourth signature shoe — the Jordan Zion 4 — finally leaked and now the Swoosh has uploaded its official visuals for the upcoming sneaker. While we remain without any technical specifications from the brand, this full preview further illustrates what to expect from its “Metallic Silver” colorway, including a semi-translucent outsole with performance-oriented traction and “Zion” branding. Release remains anticipated for 2025 at a price of $140 USD. For more info, review our initial breakdown below.

Original Story: There’s no denying that Zion Williamson is a force to be a reckoned with when he’s healthy, however, that stipulation has unfortunately limited the success of his first five seasons in the NBA as he currently deals with a left hamstring strain. Meanwhile, the state of his partnership with Jordan Brand — which has involved three signature shoes to date — was brought into question as over a year elapsed since the launch of the Jordan Zion 3 with no indication that a sequel was in the works. However, a new leak has cleared the air.

An early look at what to expect from the Jordan Zion 4 has finally surfaced, revealing a “Metallic Silver” colorway that graces the new shoe. The model maintains the lower cut of its immediate predecessor as Zoom Air cushioning is noted at the midfoot. Its layered upper leans heavily on silver here but does notably include elephant print detailing just above the midsole and its Jumpman branding.

At the time of writing, neither Zion Williamson nor Jordan Brand have indicated when the Jordan Zion 4 will be making its retail debut. Stay tuned for updates, including an official look at the new design, as it is currently expected to launch in 2025 via Nike SNKRS and select retailers at a starting price of $140 USD.
